About resizing images
Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of an image — for example from 4000×3000 down to 1280×960. It's the simplest way to make photos load faster on websites, fit upload limits, or match a required size. Keeping the aspect ratio means the width and height shrink by the same proportion, so the picture is never stretched or squashed.
Like every Imagloo tool, resizing runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded, so the tool works offline and keeps your files completely private.
Frequently asked questions
How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Leave "Keep aspect ratio" checked and fill in only the width or only the height — the other side is calculated for you.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like; they're all resized to the same settings and you can download them in one click.
Does it upload my photos?
No. Everything is processed locally on your device.
