Why add a watermark?
A watermark stamps your name, brand, or a copyright notice directly onto a photo, which makes it harder for others to pass your work off as their own and helps people find you when an image is shared. With Imagloo you control exactly how it looks — the text, font size, color, opacity, and which of the nine positions it sits in — and the live preview updates the moment you change anything.
Like every Imagloo tool, the watermark is drawn entirely in your browser — your image is never uploaded, so even sensitive or unpublished work stays completely private. Need to also resize or shrink the file first? Try the resizer or the compressor, then come back to add your stamp.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make the watermark see-through?
Yes — use the opacity slider. Drop it low for a subtle stamp, or raise it for a bold, solid mark.
Will the watermark be on the downloaded file?
Yes. The image you download is exactly what you see in the preview, watermark and all, at the original full resolution.
Do you upload my image?
No. Everything is processed locally on your device — your image never leaves the browser.
